- Actually, for you technical editing groupies out there, I have proposed
- to WG15 that we leave 9945 as two volumes--system API and shell & utilities--
- and start a new ISO number for system admin (POSIX.7). That new number
- will be in multiple parts (xxxx-1, xxxx-2, etc.), corresponding to the
- multiple parts of 1003.7. This generated no opposition in October and I
- have not received negative feedback from any of the national bodies, so
- I assume we will approve this in May.
